Sumatera Barat's Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) in Oktober 2018 was recorded at 96.53 and Harvest Dry Grain Prices at Farmer Levels increased 6.63 percent

·         Sumatera Barat’s NTP in October 2018 was recorded at 96.53, up 0.16 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 96.37 (September 2018). The price index received by farmers (It) increased by 0.98 percent and the price index paid by farmers (Ib) increased by 0.82 percent.

 Gabah

·         Composition of the number of observations from 121 grain price transactions in seven districts in West Sumatra during October 2018, dominated by Dry Rice Harvest (GKP) of 87 percent. While the quality is low at 13 percent.

·         At the farm level, the highest grain price comes from the grain quality of the GKP Banang Pulau variety, which is Rp. 6,700 per kg which occurs in Limapuluh Kota Regency. While the lowest price comes from the Batang Piaman variety, which is valued at Rp. 5,000.00 per kg, occurring in Agam Regency.
