December 2022 National Farm Workers Nominal Wages Increase by 0.22 Percent

Abstract

The nominal wage of the worker/worker is the average daily wage received by the worker as remuneration for the work that has been done.

The real wages of workers/workers describe the purchasing power of the income/wages received by workers/workers.

The real wage of a farm worker is the ratio between the nominal wage of a farm worker and the price index for rural household consumption, while the real wage for a construction worker is the ratio of the nominal wage of a construction worker to the urban consumer price index.

The nominal daily wage for national farm workers in December 2022 will increase by 0.22 percent compared to the nominal wage for November 2022 farm workers, namely from Rp. 59,096.00 to Rp. 59,226.00 per day. Meanwhile, the real wages of farm workers decreased by 0.73 percent.

The nominal daily wage for construction workers (handymen not foremen) in December 2022 rose 0.04 percent compared to November 2022, namely from IDR 94,034.00 to IDR 94,072.00 per day. Meanwhile, real wages decreased by 0.62 percent.
