  • Pada bulan Agustus 2021, Sumatera Barat mengalami deflasi sebesar 0,13 persen atau terjadi penurunan IHK dari 105,30 pada bulan Juli 2021 menjadi 105,16 pada bulan Agustus 2021.
  • Laju inflasi tahun kalender Sumatera Barat sampai bulan Agustus 2021 mengalami deflasi sebesar 0,15 persen dan tingkat inflasi tahun ke tahun atau Agustus 2021 terhadap Agustus 2020 tercatat sebesar 1,59 persen.
  • Bulan Agustus 2021 Kota Padang mengalami deflasi sebesar 0,10 persen dan Kota Bukittinggi mengalami deflasi sebesar 0,27 persen
