Abstract

West Sumatra's NTP for January 2023 was 111.80, up 1.25 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to an increase in the price index received by farmers (It) of 2.27 percent which was greater than the increase in the price index paid by farmers (Ib) of 1.01 percent.
The West Sumatra Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for January 2023 was 109.67 or an increase of 1.19 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
In January 2023 the average price of GKP quality grain at the farm level increased by 1.32 percent from IDR 6,689.38 per kg (December 2022) to IDR 6,777.90 per kg (January 2023).
