  • Nilai ekspor yang berasal dari Provinsi Sumatera Barat bulan Agustus 2021 mencapai US$392,81 juta, terjadi peningkatan sebesar 76,77 persen dibanding ekspor bulan Juli 2021.
  • „Golongan barang ekspor pada bulan Agustus 2021 paling besar adalah lemak &minyak hewan/nabat sebesar US$337,86 juta, diikut oleh golongan karet danbarang dari karet sebesar US$17,47 juta.
  • Nilai impor Sumatera Barat bulan Agustus 2021 sebesar US$21,53 juta, terjadipenurunan sebesar 67,59 persen dibanding impor bulan Juli 2021. „
  • Golongan barang impor pada bulan Agustus 2021 paling besar adalah bahan bakar mineral sebesar US$17,25 juta dan pupuk sebesar US$3,64 juta
