  • Di Kota Padang pada bulan Oktober 2019 terjadi deflasi sebesar -0,34 persen atau terjadi penurunan Indeks Harga Konsumen (IHK) dari 143,04 pada bulan September 2019 menjadi 142,55 pada bulan Oktober 2019.
  • Laju inflasi tahun kalender Kota Padang sampai Oktober 2019 adalah sebesar 1,99 persen. Sedangkan laju inflasi year on year (Oktober 2019 terhadap Oktober 2018) sebesar 2,35 persen.
  • Kota Bukittinggi pada bulan Oktober 2019 mengalami inflasi sebesar 0,02 persen atau terjadi penurunan Indeks Harga Konsumen (IHK) dari 133,69 pada bulan September 2019 menjadi 133,72 pada bulan Oktober 2019.
  • Laju Inflasi tahun kalender sampai bulan Oktober 2019 sebesar 1,42 persen, sedangkan laju inflasi year on year (Oktober 2019 terhadap Oktober 2018) adalah sebesar 2,68 persen.
