The economy of Sumatera Barat in 2018 measured based on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) on the basis of current prices reached Rp230.53 trillion and per capita GRDP reached Rp.42.57 million or US $ 2901.45.
The economy of Sumatera Barat in 2018 grew 5.14 percent, slowing compared to 2017 at 5.29 percent.
The economy of Sumatera Barat quarter IV-2018 if compared to the fourth quarter of 2017 (y-on-y) is a positive growth of 5.50 percent compared to the same period the previous year of 5.41 percent.
